It’s Barnes and Noble night for the family. We started it last summer to incent the boys to do well in school, and it has become a bi-monthly tradition ever since. Tonight, I decided to being along the trusty laptop to do some browsing, and ended up posting here.
I also brought along my Nook, but it ran out of juice. Oh well. I can still read on my iPhone or laptop. I do like the read in store functionality where you can choose any eBook and read it for free while in the brick and motar B&N. Our local B&B also has Nook accessories in stock; they didn’t for the longest time, but I already am full up on my share. I really could use a charger and wall plug though.
The boys are out an about in the store, the oldest has a taste for Sci Fi and Fantasy books, and the youngest still likes his Diary of a Wimpy Kid and BeastQuest series. The deal is, they might score a book during a visit; but it depends on their behavior and, during the school year, grades. Will they get a book tonight? Possibly.
