I have been neglecting my site here for too long. The last post was May 26th?? Wow. Bad, bad Jay! Since that post, there have been a lot of events I can bring everyone up to speed with.
First of all, I got remarried on the 29th of May. The ceremony went smoothly, and it turned out to be a beautiful day. (By the way, for those subscribed to my Flickr photos, I have uploaded photos of the wedding, and a whole bunch of others too!)
I’ve been able to go out driving my R/C on most weekends. Notice I wrote “R/C” singular? Well, my nitro powered Maxx cracked a center drive axle. This seems to be the 3rd or 4th time I had to repair this truck just this summer, so I “retired” it for now. I’m now driving my “Merv” – Mini E-Revo. It’s a 1/16 scale R/C that’s four wheel driven by a brushless motor. Pairing my Merv with Lipo batteries, the thing flies! I can keep up (and sometimes beat) my buddy’s Jato. Loads of fun!
I’ve also recently updated to the reception killing iPhone 4. The 3GS has been “food chained” to my wife, and her Motorola to my oldest boy. Everyone’s happy! Save for the dropped calls.
