I was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. My Great Grandparents migrated from Japan, making me a fourth-generation (Yonsei) in Hawaii. I decided to attend college on the “mainland”, enrolling at Bradley University after graduating from Iolani School in Honolulu.
